Current Teacher salary schedule.

• Meets certification requirements of the State of Delaware for Middle Level ELA.
• Certification requirements of the State of Delaware for Exceptional Children K‑12 preferred.
• Successful completion of Praxis II exam.
• Teacher designated Highly Qualified in Middle Level ELA preferred.

• Teach ELA to students.
• Work with students in a middle‑school level placement.
• Collaborate with staff and parents.
• Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
• Prepare for assigned classes and provide written evidence of preparation upon request of the immediate superior.
• Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
• Implement the district's mission statement through instruction and action.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
• Provide educational services to students and parents outside the instructional day when reasonably possible.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
