St. Elizabeth Healthcare welcomes all Registered Nurses with less than one year of experience to apply to our Nurse Residency Transition Program (NRTP). The NRTP was established to assist newly graduated nurses to transition from a student nurse to a professional nurse. As a resident, you will experience education, support, and follow‑up during the first year of employment. The program consists of both didactic instruction and simulation and is designed to improve confidence, competence, critical thinking, prioritization, time management, communication, and leadership skills.
