St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Student Nurse (SNAP) for our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) located within the Edgewood Hospital.

Hours:

Full-Time – 30 hours/week, Day Shift 7A-7P

The Student Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a RN or LPN.

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides for personal care & comfort.
• Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.

• High School diploma or GED
• Currently enrolled in good standing at an accredited nursing program
• Successful completion of first clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 2.75 GPA
• Not listed on Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry

• Basic math skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
