St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) located at the Edgewood, Kentucky location. This role supports our mission to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.

The licensed registered nurse is responsible for providing evidence‑based clinical care to designated patients, utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes, delegates tasks appropriately, and demonstrates respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy toward patients, families, visitors, and colleagues.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and licensed to practice in the state of employment. Compact (multi‑state) license acceptable if in primary state of residence.
• Meet all state licensure contact hour requirements, including courses required.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice standards, procedures, policies, and competency in mathematical calculations related to medication administration.
• Competent to perform safe nursing skills and procedures independently.
• Successfully complete facility and area preceptorship and orientation.
• Ability to think critically and problem‑solve in routine and emergency situations.
