About the Position Route delivery drivers can expect to have consistent year-round work with a minimum of 40 hours per week and overtime potential. Our drivers are assigned a route within the five-boroughs and Westchester with the primary responsibility of meeting our customers' needs by safely delivering our products in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner.

Candidates must have weekend availability throughout the year as a part of their regular schedule, as occasional weekend shifts are an essential aspect of this position. Flexibility to work additional hours, including holidays, may also be required based on the needs of the business.

This position will report to Big Geyser's Edgewood, NY facility.

Competitive Hourly Pay:

Earn $33.00 per hour as a CDL Driver Drivers operating independently (without a Truck Helper) receive the full $33.00 hourly rate Drivers working with a Truck Helper earn $28.00 per hour Premium Pay Opportunities:

Routes in Queens offer increased rates:$34.00 per hour for Drivers operating without a Truck Helper $29.00 per hour for Drivers working with a Truck Helper Growth & Advancement:

Position Overview:

Safely and courteously deliver and satisfy the needs of our customers.

Maintain driver logs and complete pre and post-trip inspections as per DOT.Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues.

Follow all Big Geyser operational procedures.

Accurately follow paperwork procedures and execute crash management duties.

Protect the company's assets by maintaining organized, safe, and clean vehicles while always complying with the company's safety and security standards.

Utilization of flashers and warning devices in accordance with laws, regulations, accepted industry practices, and company policy.

Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including DOT safety regulations.

Immediately report accidents, equipment malfunctions, and DMV or traffic violations.

Ensure cargo is secured properly and in compliance with safety requirements.

Keep all company vehicles and equipment in good condition.

Control, protect, and maintain truck's inventory and equipment.

Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.

Follow delivery/pickup instructions from dispatcher and manager.

Assist in loading and unloading truck.

Give directions to helper in packing and moving product for customers.

What we are looking for in the ideal candidate

Active CDL License (Class A or

B).2-3 years of experience in commercial driving for delivery.

Delivery experience within the food & beverage industry is preferred, but not required.

Strong attention to detail regarding safety measures.

Ability to communicate with customers, management, and other Big Geyser employees in an effective and timely manner.
