Job Description WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Safely operate a company-provided delivery van
- Start and finish each shift at the DMD2 delivery station in Edgewood
- Load, organize, and deliver packages to homes and businesses
- Use a company-provided device for navigation and delivery information
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and customer delivery instructions
- Get in and out of the delivery van throughout the shift
- Deliver packages safely and on time
- Communicate with dispatch throughout the day
- Provide professional and friendly customer service
- Keep the assigned delivery vehicle clean and report any safety or maintenance concerns
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Approximately 10-hour shifts
- Three to five days per week
- Weekday and weekend shifts available
- Full-time and part-time schedules available
- Schedule may include weekends and holidays
- Consistent schedules offered based on business needs and employee availability
Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENTS- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- No CDL required
- Must consent to required background and motor vehicle record checks
- Must be able to safely operate and navigate a delivery van
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to repeatedly enter and exit the delivery van
- Must be comfortable walking, climbing stairs, bending, reaching, and standing during the shift
- Must be able to work in heat, cold, rain, and other weather conditions
- Must be reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
- Must be available for at least one weekend day when required
