• Oversee and review estimates developed by the estimating team.
• Proactively identify project opportunities while positively representing the company.
• Confirm adherence to specifications and resolve conflicts.
• Conduct periodic performance evaluations of direct reports, provide quarterly updates, and identify proactive training opportunities.
• Perform detailed audits of assigned projects and others.
• Sequence critical‑path activities and demonstrate how changes impact progress and profit.
• Identify equipment needs by creating forecasts and managing responsible equipment utilization.
• Help ensure the safety of the team – everyone is responsible for safety.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction engineering management, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of related previous experience as a Project Manager (experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
• Experience with alternative heavy civil delivery (GC/CM or PDB) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, organization, and leadership skills.
• Broad understanding of the industry and ability to apply knowledge to project‑specific work.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to guide decision‑making.

• Ability to stand or walk for long periods; use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects; lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to see well and distinguish between backup alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites.

• Work inside and outside in all weather conditions, and various locations.
• Hard hat, hearing and eye protection required.
