Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 annually
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Collections Specialist to join our growing team in Edina, MN. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced collections professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, make sound business decisions, and effectively manage a diverse portfolio of customer accounts with minimal supervision.

, the team continues to navigate system enhancements and process improvements. We are looking for someone who can quickly adapt, hit the ground running, and bring strong collections expertise to support ongoing business operations.
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and drive timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Analyze account activity, identify collection issues, and develop effective resolutions.
- Communicate with customers regarding payment status, discrepancies, and account concerns.
- Partner closely with internal departments including Customer Service, Sales, Parts, Service, and Accounting to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Evaluate customer situations and make informed decisions regarding account escalations, payment arrangements, and risk mitigation.
- Investigate and resolve complex account disputes.
- Monitor aging reports and proactively prioritize collection efforts.
- Document collection activities and maintain accurate account records within SAP.
- Support process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts following the SAP S/4
HANA implementation.
- 5+ years of business-to-business (B2B) collections experience.
- Experience managing a diverse portfolio that may include equipment, parts, service, or other complex customer accounts.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions with minimal direction.
- Experience working in ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred, ideally SAP S/4
HANA. - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A self-starter who can quickly learn processes and operate with minimal training.
- Someone who is comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex collection challenges.
- A professional who can balance customer relationships while protecting company cash flow.
- An individual who enjoys working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while remaining accountable for their own results.
Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 annually, based on experience.
