Lead Business Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to serve as a senior, business-first partner supporting enterprise initiatives across strategy, process, and capability enablement. This role is focused on owning business requirements end-to-end, aligning stakeholders around business outcomes, and ensuring solutions are designed to support long-term enterprise capabilities-not just point-in-time reporting or technical delivery.
The Lead Business Analyst will operate as a trusted advisor to the business, working closely with executive stakeholders, product owners, and IT partners to define business needs, model processes and value streams, and guide solution design. This role is ideal for a classic Lead BA with strong presence, enterprise mindset, and aspirations toward Business Architecture, who can connect strategy, process, and technology into cohesive business solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with demonstrated leadership in enterprise environments
Proven experience owning business requirements and driving alignment across complex, cross-functional initiatives
Strong background in business process modeling, value stream mapping, and capability-driven analysis
Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across Finance, HR, Operations, Sales, and IT
Ability to translate business strategy and objectives into clear, actionable requirements
Demonstrated leadership guiding solution direction and influencing design decisions
Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills with executive-level audiences
Experience working in structured enterprise delivery environments (Agile and/or Waterfall)
Track record of mentoring or leading other Business Analysts

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Exposure to Business Architecture concepts (capability modeling, operating models, enterprise alignment)
Experience working alongside data and technical teams (without being execution- or development-focused)
Familiarity with enterprise governance, standards, and documentation best practices
Background supporting large, multi-domain initiatives rather than isolated projects
