Project Manager – Mechanical (HVAC Construction)
Looking for a role where your mechanical construction expertise is valued, your growth is supported, and your hard work is rewarded with flexibility and perks? This Project Manager position is a chance to oversee HVAC and mechanical construction projects, from schools and civic buildings to housing. Here you’ll enjoy mentorship, a collaborative culture, and benefits that lead the industry.
- You’ll manage piping, plumbing, sheet metal, or insulation scopes, with exposure to the full range of mechanical systems.
- Projects are primarily civic, educational, corporate and housing HVAC systems, often in “plan and spec” public bid environments.
- 3+ years of project management experience in commercial mechanical (HVAC) systems, or the drive to step up from an Assistant PM role.
- Knowledge of construction methods and how mechanical systems come together.
- Experience working for (or with) a mechanical contractor on commercial projects.
- Strong organizational skills for managing contracts, costs, and schedules.
- Familiarity with subcontractor coordination and procurement.
- Comfortable with software such as Viewpoint, Bluebeam, MS Teams, Excel, and Office Suite.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Relationships with GCs or building owners? That’s a plus.
This is a ready-to-hire position with full leadership approval and zero red tape. You’ll join a 200-person team with a strong local presence, but still feel part of a tight-knit office where your contributions are recognized daily.
Beyond the work itself, there are real perks that make this role stand out. You’ll enjoy half-day Fridays, giving you more time for family and personal life without sacrificing pay. You’ll step into the position with the mentorship of a seasoned Senior Project Manager, ensuring you’re set up for success from day one. Financially, the company invests heavily in its people, contributing on average 14% of your salary toward retirement (with the potential to reach up to 25%) far beyond what most contractors offer.
You’ll also receive a $500 monthly vehicle allowance plus a gas card, making travel to sites and meetings stress-free.
If you’re ready to take on rewarding projects, enjoy exceptional benefits, and grow into a senior leadership path, this opportunity is built for you.
