Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with customers via multiple channels, providing counsel and adopting a digital-first mindset.
- Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtain and process customer and account information, and educate clients on available deposit and loan products.
- Recommend solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs.
- Proactively reach out to clients and follow up, asking questions and learning about their financial needs and banking channel preferences.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
- Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and serve clients with operational excellence and accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically has a minimum of three to four years of job‑related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
- Requires NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. A criminal background and credit check are part of the required registration process.
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up.
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
- Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital‑first mindset.
- Proficient in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively.
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
