More than 8,500 diverse student learners are provided an exceptional education experience throughout the district’s early learning center, six elementary schools (K–Grade
5) including both French and Spanish Immersion programs, two middle schools (Grades 6–8), a high school (9–12), and the Edina Virtual Pathway online program.

Looking for a way to make a difference in the lives of students! Apply to be a Kids’ Club Lead. The candidate hired for this position will provide assistance to students and support the Program Specialist in the supervision of youth in after school care programming.

Eligible for the Minnesota Great Start Compensation Support Payment Program. This state program provides support to eligible child care centers specifically to recruit and retain child care employees who regularly care for children. Funds are distributed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Summer Kids’ Club Lead

High school diploma or equivalent.

• Hours per day: part‑time or full‑time shifts, depending on program need. Consistent weekly schedule preferred.
• Days per year: 6/1/2026 – 8/14/2026
• Daily schedule:
  Summer Program operates 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday‑Friday

Wage: $16.97 – $23.34 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. New hires typically start at the entry‑level rate; more experienced candidates may be placed at a higher starting rate, decided on a case‑by‑case basis.

Temporary/seasonal position. Eligible employees will participate in the state's largest pension program, the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA). Leave benefits will be applied in accordance with Minnesota law.
