More than 8,600 diverse student learners are provided an exceptional education experience throughout the district’s early learning center, six elementary schools (K‑Grade
5) including both French and Spanish Immersion programs, two middle schools (Grades 6‑8), a high school (9‑12), and the Edina Virtual Pathway online program.

We are currently recruiting paraprofessionals for our summer 2026 targeted services program, excitED! Following MN Department of Education best practices, this invitation‑only program is designed to help students discover their possibilities and thrive using a blend of social emotional learning, targeted instruction in reading and math, and hands‑on, project‑based learning. Together, we’ll create a welcoming learning community that will help students develop foundations for lasting academic and personal success.

• Associate’s Degree or at least two years of post‑secondary education (a minimum of 60 semester credits)
• Experience working with students
• Experience working with diverse student populations

Salary Range: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Most candidates will start at the entry‑level rate of $23.00 per hour. Candidates with prior work experience in a related field may be eligible for a starting rate up to $23.70 per hour. For those with direct experience in this specific role, the starting rate may exceed $23.70 per hour, depending on their qualifications and experience.

Benefits: This is a temporary/seasonal position. Eligible employees will participate in the state’s largest pension program, the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA). Leave benefits will be applied in accordance with Minnesota law.
