More than 8,500 diverse student learners are provided an exceptional education experience throughout the district's early learning center, six elementary schools (K
- Grade
5) including both French and Spanish Immersion programs, two middle schools (Grades 6-8), a high school (9-12), and the Edina Virtual Pathway online program.
Assists the Coordinator and Supervisors in the logistics and daily implementation of the Hornet Central early arrival program at each middle school, and utilizes best practices in healthy youth development to support students participating in these programs.
Education and Experience Requirements- Proven ability to relate well to students and adults
- Desire to work in a team setting and build a school culture of belonging and curiosity.
- Demonstrated skills in problem solving and taking effective actions in complex situations.
- Fluent in Spanish or Somali
- First Aid/CPR (training can be provided)
The wage for this position ranges from $17.48 to $24.04 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. New hires will typically start at the entry-level rate within the wage range, while candidates with relevant experience may be placed at a higher starting rate. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, in consideration of the individual's experience and the school district's budget.
