As a Mechanical Estimator
, you will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure competitive and profitable bids. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction methods, and cost analysis.

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project scope.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
• Perform material take-offs and labor estimates using industry-standard software.
• Solicit and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop competitive proposals.
• Identify potential risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Stay current on industry trends, material costs, and labor rates.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates and bid documents.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical estimating, preferably in HVAC and plumbing.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, construction processes, and materials.
• Proficiency in estimating software
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
