Job Description
The Float Client Relationship Consultant builds relationships with customers across multiple channels—including in‑person, by appointment, and virtually—to provide the best possible counsel with a digital‑first mindset at multiple branch locations.
Key Responsibilities- Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow‑up, asking questions and learning about their financial needs and channel preferences.
- Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtaining and processing customer and account information.
- Demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services, and recommend solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs.
- Identify solutions for new and existing clients by effectively engaging and communicating with them.
- Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital products and services.
- Provide a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
- Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests and submit credit applications.
- Proactively educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products and services to assist with meeting their financial needs.
- Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and serve clients with operational excellence and accuracy.
Home branch: 4100 W50thSt., Edina, MN55424. Travel to defined branch clusters as assigned and subject to change within 50miles.
Flexible work schedule—up to 6 days per week. Mileage and drive time will be paid for any time or distance beyond your regular home branch commute.
Reports to Float Pool Manager at market level.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation
Z. You will be subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain any of the NMLS registration requirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record, may result in a rescission of your offer or termination of employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically has a minimum four to five years of job‑related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
- Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services.
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions.
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
- Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
- Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customers’ needs both reactively and proactively.
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days.

Pay Range: $25.49–$31.15.
