Accredited Investors Wealth Management® is currently seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to join our Investment Management team. This role works closely with both Investment Management and Operations and is focused on portfolio trading, rebalancing, and the implementation of investment strategies across client accounts.
This is not a traditional financial analyst role (e.g., accounting, FP&A, or reporting). Candidates without direct experience executing trades or performing portfolio rebalancing will not be a fit for this position.

Who You Will Work WithYou will be a member of the Investment Management team and partner closely with colleagues across the firm. This role collaborates regularly with the Wealth Management team to support client portfolios through trading, rebalancing, and ongoing account monitoring.
You will also serve as a back-up to other Investment Operations team members and support shared team responsibilities, while contributing to special projects and process improvements.
Primary Responsibilities- Execute trades and implement portfolio changes across client accounts
- Monitor cash flows and ensure timely and accurate investment of client assets
- Review portfolios and implement trades based on model changes, cash needs, and tax considerations
- Partner with the Wealth Management team on client-related investment activity
- Execute tax loss harvesting trades when appropriate
- Assist with administration and maintenance of portfolio management systems (Tamarac Advisor View)
- Review and address research items from Wealth Managers using the Dynamics CRM queue
- Support billing transaction reconciliation and other month-end processes
- Serve as back-up to other Investment Operations team members
- Participate in special projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
A successful candidate will bring direct experience in trading and/or portfolio rebalancing, along with a strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. They take ownership of their work, follow established processes closely, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. This person is solution-oriented, adaptable, and motivated to contribute to a high-performing, collaborative environment.
What You Offer- Hands-on experience executing trades and/or performing rebalancing required
- Experience reviewing portfolios and implementing trades based on model changes, cash flows, or tax considerations
- Familiarity with portfolio management and rebalancing tools (Tamarac strongly preferred)
- Basic understanding of capital markets and tax implications of trading (e.g., tax loss harvesting)
- 2-3 years of experience in an investment operations, trading, or portfolio implementation role
