CL Audit Associate
The individual in this role will have the opportunity to provide administrative support for the Commercial Lines, Loss Control, and Premium Audit teams by coordinating workflows, supporting underwriting operations, and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities- Reviews premium audit requests and assigns them to the appropriate audit vendors in accordance with established guidelines.
- Processes final premium audit results and ensures all required information is complete and accurate for audit processing.
- Verifies that information collected and reported by auditors meets established quality and compliance standards.
- Researches issues, gathers relevant information, and supports the resolution of routine underwriting and audit questions.
- Makes decisions related to routine activities and escalates more complex issues as appropriate.
- Applies knowledge to resolve problems of limited scope and recommends solutions for more complex situations.
- Delivers exceptional customer service by responding promptly to phone and email inquiries, setting appropriate expectations, and ensuring commitments are met.
- Collaborates effectively with underwriting, loss control, premium audit, and other internal teams to support business operations.
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior customer service experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working across departments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with office technology, business software applications, and core operating systems.
Experience in insurance or a related field.
Demonstrated relationship-building and customer service skills.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound business judgment.
Proven ability to effectively prioritize work and consistently meet deadlines.
Compensation OverviewThe hiring range for this role is $23.25 - $30.69 per hour. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on the job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience of each candidate as well as other factors such as the scope and location of the role. Candidates looking for compensation outside of the posted range are encouraged to apply and will be considered based on their individual qualifications and/or may be considered for other positions.
