The MRI Technologist will perform quality MRI images per physician’s orders while providing excellent service to patients. This is a part‑time (0.2) position working every other weekend from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, primarily at our Waconia location.
Essential Functions- Perform MRI procedures using the superconducting magnet on designated body portions for physician diagnosis and treatment.
- Inform and prepare patients for procedures, including research on implanted devices.
- Maintain patient files, including internal and external films.
- Prepare, clean and stock work area with supplies.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair.
- Maintain precautions for excessive radio frequency exposure.
- May include IV contrast administration as needed.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an ARRT or ARMRIT approved program.
- ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance, ARMRIT Certified, or a minimum of one year of full‑time experience in an MRI department.
- Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
- A $4,000 sign‑on bonus is offered for select roles, payable on first paycheck with a 12‑month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible.

- Work independently at least 90% of the time.
- Lifting up to 35‑50 pounds and handling patients or wheelchairs up to 300 pounds.
- Continuous standing, walking, bending and moving.
- Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
- Auditory ability for phone or video calls.
- Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, practices, and business ethics guidelines.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws).
- Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance.
- Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions, meet deadlines, and prioritize workload effectively.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally in face‑to‑face, phone, and email interactions. Apply logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
