Job Overview

We are looking for a
Resident Assistant to join our team at Aurora on France Assisted Living in Edina, MN! This position is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services to enhance and/or maintain the residents' physical and emotional wellbeing.

Aurora on France is an innovative senior living community attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital in the heart of Edina, MN. Located conveniently near Hwy. 62 and France Ave. and is on a bus line. Aurora offers a full continuum of care including Transitional Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. This patient support position includes;

• 38 hours per two weeks
• Evening shift; 2PM-10PM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation

• Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to:
• Bathing/showering
• Foot and fingernail care
• Assists with meal service in dining room.
• Assists with preparing for and/or facilitating resident social and recreational activities as assigned and as requested.
• Observes tenants/residents and reports status to appropriate staff.
• Notifies appropriate staff of changes in physical and/or emotional conditions such as change in attitude or mood, loss of appetite, change in weight.
• Serves as a mandated reporter and reports any concerns regarding potential mistreatment
• Offers pertinent observations and input.
• Responds appropriately to resident and building emergencies.

• Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phones, and fax machines
• If under 18 must be on MN NAR registry

• 1-3 years' experience

An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization prioritizes pay equity and considers internal team equity when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
