Position: Human Resources Intern - $20 - $30 / hour, based on experience Hiring ASAP

Jerry's Enterprises, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an HR Intern working in an in-office setting, located in Edina, Minnesota. We are looking for an enthusiastic and results driven HR Intern to assist our HR department with administrative and HR-related tasks. Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to, conducting in-store audits of personnel files, I-9 audit, proof reading documents and policies, assisting with updating company policies and procedures, research on HR best practices, and additional administrative functions.

This is a great way to gain practical experience in a small and collaborative HR environment!

Reports To: Corporate Human Resources Manager

Location: Corporate Office - Edina, MN, not a remote position

Classification: Non-Exempt

Rate of Pay
: $20 - $30 / hour, based on experience

Hours: Monday - Friday with occasional weekend work required 25 to 30 hours a week

HR Operations and Special Projects:

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team
  • Participate in HR projects, including I-9 audit (primary project); meet with field staff as needed
  • Maintain accurate HR records and reports
  • Assist with HR metrics, dashboards, and process documentation
  • Recruiting and Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development

  • Assist with job postings on internal and external platforms
  • Assist with new hire onboarding activities and materials
  • Help coordinate training sessions, workshops, and learning events
  • Support development of training materials (slides, job aids, handouts)
  • Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with Workday, UKG, and Axonify (if applicable)
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
