Summary

Lead vision and deliver operational excellence across warehouse and home delivery functions, ensuring a world-class customer experience. Provide strategic oversight and development for teams and third-party delivery partners while owning P&L accountability and performance metrics. Drive continual improvement, compliance, and timely resolution of escalated customer issues across the assigned territory.

• Assess, coach, train, mentor and develop direct reports to perform at an optimal level
• Strategically plan, direct and oversee daily workflow and deliverables across all warehouse and delivery functions
• Own P&L management, analysis and reporting for the home delivery operation
• Manage and hold logistics vendors accountable to cost, service and quality metrics
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions to improve operational standards and compliance
• Address and resolve escalated customer service issues and visit clients in assigned territory as needed

• 5+ years leadership experience in furniture home delivery, warehouse operations or a similar field, including managing third-party carriers
• Experience hiring, training and coaching employees and driving performance
• Knowledge of business processes such as profit and loss, profit margins and related accounting principles
• Strong written and oral communication, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Computer literate with regular use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and must pass background check, MVR and drug screen
