Nursing Assistant - CNA​/NAR

Job Overview

Aurora on France TCU is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our residents in our Ebenezer Skilled Nursing Facility (Transitional Care). This role provides hands‑on care and patient support services for our adult short‑stay patients in the TCU located in Edina, MN.

• 32 hours per two weeks
• Evening shift with additional pay
• Every other weekend Saturday/Sunday and holiday rotation

Aurora on France is a new, innovative senior community attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital, offering a full continuum of care including Transitional Care, Enhanced Care, and Assisted Living/Memory Care. • Assist residents based on individual care plans with bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers, and respond to call lights.
• Check and record vitals per patient care model.
• Provide AM/PM/NOC care including peri care and catheter care.
• Turn, lift, or transfer residents with or without assistance.
• Observe residents and report status to appropriate staff clearly and concisely.
• Chart or document in the electronic medical record system.
• Resolve resident and family concerns.
• Receive and give reports to appropriate staff during various times in the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness in rooms and work areas, report malfunctioning equipment to maintenance, and answer phones in a timely manner.

• Active Nursing Assistant or Registered (NAR) on the MDH Nursing Assistant Registry by the start date, or be hired into Ebenezer’s Nursing Assistant Course or Pre‑CNA program with a four‑month post‑hire period to become active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.

• Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population.
• Effective communication with compassion and understanding for residents and coworkers.
• Experience as HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, or Resident Assistant.
• Customer service background.
