Customer Service Representative - Edina Liquor

The position of year‑round part‑time Liquor Store Customer Service Representative at the various Edina Liquor store locations requires you to run a point‑of‑sale (POS) register, provide prompt and courteous customer service, assist in keeping the store clean and assist management as needed. You must be able to interact with customers in a professional, courteous and helpful manner.

This position also assists with delivery & sales support. When necessary, the role provides support running an e‑commerce POS system, monitors, receives, and processes online customer orders, answers questions over the phone, and delivers orders throughout the City of Edina.

This is a part‑time position with a flexible schedule of 12–20 hours per week. Shifts may include days, nights, weekends and holidays (average minimum six weekend shifts per month: Friday – Sunday).

PTO – Employees earn one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked.

• Provides superior customer service and greets customers in a professional, courteous and friendly manner; answers phones promptly, directs calls, takes messages, and utilizes the POS system for every transaction; handles and manages cash; performs retail and customer service activities as needed.
• Assists with day‑to‑day operations of the liquor store, including stocking shelves, filling products in the beer cooler, displaying merchandise, in‑store displays and signage, maintaining overall appearance, providing product recommendations, aiding with carry‑outs, completing general janitorial duties, developing and maintaining professional relationships with all levels of staff, organizing and maintaining stock rooms, assisting with incoming deliveries, loading/unloading vehicles, and operating the delivery vehicle.
• Handles orders and inventory for the e‑commerce POS system, including receiving and processing online customer orders and supporting delivery of a wide variety of items to different addresses.

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior retail liquor or at least two years of general retail experience preferred.

• Requires frequent bending and long periods of standing or walking; must be able to lift 50–80 pounds or perform reasonably accommodated tasks.

The position is performed primarily indoors within a temperature‑controlled environment.
