Operations Manager - Southdale

Summary

The Operations Manager oversees and directs showroom operations, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, systems, and tools to deliver an exceptional client experience. Reporting to the Showroom Director, this role manages back‑of‑house functions, supports sales efforts, and drives process efficiencies. The Operations Manager partners with management and visual teams to maintain store standards and operational compliance.

• Manage employee relations and complete new hire onboarding and paperwork
• Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures and scheduling security
• Oversee shipping and receiving, cycle counts, and inventory control for Watches and Fine Jewelry
• Supervise the Service Department in coordination with the Repair Manager
• Support loss prevention, physical security, store cash controls, and inventory management
• Reconcile merchandise discrepancies, reticket items, and make price adjustments
• Manage controllable expenses and ensure timely balancing of mail checks and invoices
• Provide floor coverage and partner with visual merchandising to maintain brand image
• Train staff on POS, SAP, and other operational systems to ensure digital fluency

• High school degree or college degree
• Previous experience in operations within a service‑related or retail environment
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with POS systems and SAP
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays and to stand/walk for extended periods
• Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and security protocols
