The location of this position is to be determined. We anticipated that the selected candidate(s) will start at either our 50th Street Edina or Golden Valley locations, but this is subject to change. When hiring new managers Lunds & Byerlys does its best to place the new managers at a location best suited for them.

Lunds & Byerlys is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing full-time Bakery Manager to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a full-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $33.13/hr.

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 6:00am-10:00pm.

Our Bakery Managers are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Leading, supervising, coaching, mentoring, and training employees
• Monitoring and maintaining inventory, sales, and shrink
• Analyzing financials and ensuring the department is meeting financial goals
• Maintaining cleanliness of the department
• Supporting the General Manager/Store Manager in all phases of day-to-day store operations

• Team player - steps in to assist when and where as needed
• Respectful - empathetic and appreciative of our customers and team
• Innovative - implements trending and forward-thinking retail solutions
• Hospitable - provides a friendly face and welcoming environment

• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
  • Minimum of two plus (2+) years' experience in bakery leadership
• Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of financial reporting systems and concepts
  • Strong understanding of retail operations
  • Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
