Meat Service Clerk

Position Overview

Meat and Seafood Manager. Classification:
Part Time. Union. Pay:
Progressive scale from $15.00 - $18.00 / hour based on experience.

Hours:

Sunday – Saturday, varied hours.

• Make lasting connections with customers.
• Fill and rotate cases and displays (may involve heavy lifting—up to 50 lbs).
• Assist with merchandising and receiving products to keep shelves full.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary store.
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to run an awesome department.

• Friendly and outgoing, promotes customer service for the entire team.
• Experience working in a meat department.
• Knowledge of burger patties, meatloaf tins, kabobs, pork handling.
• Motivated to grow career and continue learning.

• Frequent: lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs., pushing over 2200 force lbs., walking, reaching, standing, stooping, squatting, turning.
• Equipment operation: meat saw, slicer, scale, racks, knives, grinder, cuber, bulker, mixer, patty machine, tenderizer, pressure washer, telephone, paging system.
• Occasional: forklift, pallet jack, flatbed.
• Frequent: 15% of shift or at least ten repetitions per shift. Occasional: less than 15% or fewer than ten repetitions.
