Team North Star is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to help business owners throughout the Twin Cities protect and grow their businesses through customized insurance and risk management solutions.
This isn't a call-center job.

This is a relationship-driven B2B sales opportunity where you'll work directly with business owners, generate new business, close deals, and build a valuable book of business while partnering with a network of successful Farmers Insurance agencies.

- Meet with business owners and key decision-makers
- Prospect and develop new commercial opportunities through networking, referrals, and outreach
- Identify coverage gaps, exposures, and risk management opportunities
- Present customized insurance solutions tailored for each business
- Prepare and present proposals for:
Business Owners Policies (BOP), General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, Commercial Umbrella, and additional commercial insurance products. - Build long‑term client relationships that generate referrals and repeat business
- Partner with agency teams to uncover and support commercial opportunities
- Manage your sales pipeline and consistently achieve production goals
- Property & Casualty Producer License preferred (or willingness to obtain required licenses with company support)
- Previous experience in B2B sales, business development, outside sales, insurance sales, or account management preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, coachable, and goal-oriented
- Comfortable prospecting, networking, and managing a sales pipeline
- Ability to work independently
