Rentals. We are hiring a PART-TIME Class A CDL Driver.

What You ll Do:- Transport trailers, vans, and various equipment to clients using a tractor.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, tractor, and trailer to identify any operational concerns.
- Maintain vehicles as needed, including fueling, checking tire pressure, and cleaning windshields.
- Adhere to ICC and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and document working hours in accordance with legal requirements.
- Follow navigation instructions utilizing approved technology such as GPS and maps.
- Record equipment movement accurately, noting date, time, location, and other relevant details.
- Remain attentive to weather and road conditions when operating vehicles.
- Provide precise reports on shop work orders detailing tasks completed.
- Proficiency in parking large and heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- High levels of alertness, focus, and attention to detail.
- Physical and mental fitness.
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.
- Ability to climb in and out of truck cabs, inspect equipment through bending, stooping, and walking.
- Capacity to sit for extended periods during operation.
- Competency in inspecting equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds.
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Rollback experience (not required)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum of two years proven experience in commercial truck driving (required).
- Clean driving record.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
