Non-Exempt.
Salary Range: $15.51 – $23.30.
Pay Grade: PS2.
Primary PurposeThe Secondary ELL Clerk will serve the campus principal and staff to ensure all forms and other pertinent paperwork pertaining to Bilingual/ESL students and the LPAC process are completed and filed.
Qualifications- TEA certification requirements.
- High School Graduate or GED.
- One year experience in computer database, spreadsheet, work processing and keyboarding preferred.
- Facilitate the reviewing, updating and maintenance of accurate LPAC files of all current ELLs and monitor students.
- Responsible for the timely submission and filing of all LPAC documents.
- Collaborate with PEIMS Clerk to assure accurate coding of Bilingual/ESL students.
- Enter and maintain LPAC information on District Student Data Base.
- Meet all deadlines for data entry.
- Assist in obtaining the following ELL information from other school districts and campuses:
Test results, Program Placement, Exit Status, Assessment Decisions. - Meet with LPAC Administration and members regularly to provide them with LPAC documentation needed for the decision‑making process.
- Assist in providing ELL student information to Campus LPAC Committee, Campus Administration and District Bilingual/ESL Department.
- Assure and follow confidentiality laws and procedures.
- Attend regularly scheduled meetings with the Bilingual/ESL Department for guidance, procedures and networking.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Typewriter, computer, printer, copier, fax machine, calculator, telephone.
- Maintain emotional control under stress; repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer.
