We seek applicants who are dedicated to serving The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley's diverse student body as a rank of department beginning in the academic year. Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction within the academic programs beginning fall 2025. Lecturers will be responsible for teaching undergraduate College Algebra, Elementary Statistical Methods, and/or other introductory courses in the School. In addition, lecturers with doctoral degrees may be assigned advanced undergraduate courses.
This posting is for the academic year and is subject to change based on enrollment needs and budgetary approval.

We are seeking candidates with a proven track record in teaching, demonstrated through positive student success metrics such as teaching evaluations. Additionally, we highly value the ability to integrate technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning. Candidates with doctoral degrees in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or Statistics are preferred.
