Scope of Job
- Compile regional research items with regard to Native American people of South Texas for our upcoming educator workshop.
- Assist with all preparations for the educator workshop with includes preparing agendas, organizing catering for the working meals, prepare toolkit packets for attendees, create advertising blasts for social media, and create certificates of completion teachers.
- Assist with promotional items for public lectures and community engagement events.
- Oral history interview transcriptions for various topics within the CHAPS Program projects.
- Assist with the review of regional projectile point artifact collections brought to the CHAPS Program office for analysis.
- Assist the CHAPS Program with planning and implementation of community engagement events.
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications
Be registered full-time for the respective semester (nine semester credit hours during the fall semester, nine semester credit hours during spring semester, three semester credit hours during summer session(s), or in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the only remaining requirements on the degree plan.)
