Duties include, but are not limited to, providing feedback and/or grading student work; monitoring/proctoring course activities; leading laboratory sessions, discussion sessions, or recitation labs; providing office hours assistance to students; and performing clerical tasks associated with course instruction.
Minimum Qualifications- Must be in good academic standing.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher appropriate to the area of service.
- Have successfully completed eighteen (18) hours of graduate course work in the assigned teaching discipline.
- Be registered full-time for the respective semester – nine (9) semester credit hours during the fall semester, nine (9) semester credit hours during the spring semester, or three (3) semester credit hours during the summer session or be registered in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the only remaining requirements of the degree plan.
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must be a Graduate Student in the English Program.
- Candidate must have 18 hours in Graduate English Program (preferably Rhetoric & Composition and/or Linguistics) including ENGL 6325 either prior or during the semester of apply to post.
- For Linguistics: 18 hours in Graduate Linguistics Program.
