Scope of JobWe seek applicants who are dedicated to serving the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley's student body as a One Year Appointment
- Clinical Assistant Professor of the School of Nursing beginning in the academic year. Duties may include teaching students in classrooms, simulated laboratories, and clinical settings as well as student advisement. Additional efforts in professional achievement and professional service are expected. Faculty will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to scholarly work, student success, and to advancing the university, college, and program missions and are committed to UTRGV's strategic plan, vision, mission, values and core priorities.
- Minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing degree.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas prior to beginning the position.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience.
Salary:
Commensurate with Qualifications and Experience.
