The Department of Health & Human Performance in the College of Health Professions is seeking qualified candidates who have a demonstrated record of success in teaching and professional service in the Kinesiology and/or Exercise Science field that are commensurate with an appointment at the rank of Lecturer I (OYA) to begin Fall 2026.
ResponsibilitiesParticipation in task forces, teaching undergraduate courses in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, performance of other duties assigned by the department chair. Faculty will be required to teach in a variety of settings, incorporating technology and student‑engaged pedagogies to maximize student success and may be assigned to teach face‑to‑face, hybrid and/or online courses.
Qualifications- Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science or related field from an accredited institution. A Ph.D. in Kinesiology, Exercise Science or related field is required to teach graduate level courses.

Required Qualifications:
Earned master’s degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science with a record of success or evidence of potential success in teaching.
One‑Year Lecturers are paid a 9‑month academic rate commensurate with experience and/or qualification in the discipline.
