Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate marketing courses (junior and senior levels).
  • Coordinate meetings with departmental chair/faculty as required.
  • Serve the diverse student body and promote inclusive teaching practices.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Marketing or related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least four (4) years of professional experience in a mid‑level or higher position related to marketing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Teaching experience in higher education.
  • Ability to use technology to support teaching and learning.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to cultural diversity.
Compensation

Part‑time lecturers are paid per course taught, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

License or Certification Required

No special license or certification is required.

Additional Information

Texas law requires faculty members whose primary language is not English to demonstrate proficiency in English as determined by a satisfactory paper‑based test score of 500 (computer‑based of 173 or internet‑based of 61) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or a satisfactory test score of 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Incomplete applications will not be considered.
