Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Assist with the development and facilitation of wellness programs, workshops, and events centered on the 8 Dimensions of Wellness.
- Coordinate outreach initiatives such as classroom presentations, tabling events, awareness campaigns, and social media engagement.
- Collaborate with campus departments and student organizations to increase student engagement and promote wellness resources.
- Create educational materials, presentations, and promotional content related to student wellness topics.
- Support assessment efforts by tracking attendance, collecting feedback, and analyzing program participation data.
- Maintain accurate records, program calendars, and event documentation.
- Provide peer support and resource referrals to students when appropriate.
- Assist with special projects related to health promotion, prevention education, and student well‑being initiatives.
- Attend staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Commit to 20 hours a week on assigned duties including set office hours and tasks associated with assigned caseload.
- Exercise good judgment in representing the university and uphold institutional standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be admitted to a graduate degree program.
- Must be in good academic standing.
- Be registered full‑time for the respective semester (nine semester credit hours in the fall or spring, or three in the summer) or meet the required number of credit hours to fulfill remaining degree requirements.
- Enrollment in a graduate degree program in Higher Education, Counseling, Public Health, Social Work, Health Promotion, Student Affairs, or a related field.
- Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students and campus partners.
- Experience with event planning, outreach, or student engagement.
- Knowledge or interest in wellness education and holistic student development.
- Familiarity with Canva, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.
- Background check and signed agreement of client confidentiality.
- Gain experience in student wellness programming and health promotion.
- Develop skills in assessment, outreach, and program evaluation.
- Strengthen leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Learn to apply student development and wellness theories in a higher education setting.
- Build experience working with diverse student populations and campus‑wide initiatives.
