Scope of Job- Provide feedback and/or grade student work.
- Monitor and proctor course activities.
- Lead laboratory, discussion, or recitation sessions.
- Assist with office hours for students.
- Prepare and perform clerical tasks related to course instruction.
- Assist with departmental marketing and communications, including creation and management of social media content, promotion of graduate programs and events, and support outreach and recruitment initiatives.
- Good academic standing.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree appropriate to the area of service.
- Full‑time enrollment for the applicable semester (9 semester credit hours in fall or spring, 3 semester credit hours in summer, or sufficient credit hours to satisfy remaining degree requirements).
Required Qualifications
- Current admission to the UTRGV Graduate School and enrollment in the Master of Science in Marketing program.
- Good academic standing.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher appropriate to the area of service.
- Full‑time enrollment for the applicable semester (same credit hour structure as above).
- Enrollment in the Master of Science in Marketing graduate program.
- Ability to work 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling to accommodate graduate student responsibilities.
