Graduate Teaching Assistant, Summer 2026, for the Robert
C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship. Position located in Edinburg, Texas. Assignment dates:
July 13, 2026 – August 31, 2026. Full‑time enrollment required with a workload of 20 hours per week.
- Provide feedback and/or grade student work.
- Monitor and proctor course activities.
- Lead laboratory sessions, discussion sessions, or recitation labs.
- Provide office‑hour assistance to students.
- Perform clerical tasks associated with course instruction.
- Assist with departmental marketing and communications, including creating and managing social media content, promoting graduate programs and events, and supporting outreach and recruitment initiatives.
- Minimum Qualifications: In good academic standing; hold a bachelor’s degree or higher appropriate to the area of service; registered full‑time for the semester (9 semester credit hours in fall or spring, 3 in summer).

Required Qualifications:
Currently admitted to the Graduate School at UTRGV and enrolled in the Master of Science in Marketing program; in good academic standing; hold a bachelor’s degree or higher; registered full‑time for the semester (9 credit hours fall/spring, 3 credit hours summer). - Preferred Qualifications: Enrolled in the Master of Science in Marketing program; eligible for full‑time graduate status; ability to work 20 hours per week with schedule flexibility.
