Graduate Teaching Assistant – Clinical Psychology PhD
Position is located at the College of Liberal Arts/ Psychological Science on the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley campus in Edinburg, Texas. The appointment is 0.25 FTE (10 hours per week) during the Fall semester.
Responsibilities- Provide feedback and/or grading of student work
- Monitor and proctor course activities
- Lead laboratory, discussion, or recitation sessions
- Provide office hour assistance to students
- Perform clerical tasks associated with course instruction
- Be in good academic standing
- Hold a bachelor’s or higher degree appropriate to the area of service
- Be registered full‑time for the respective semester (nine semester credit hours during the fall semester, nine during spring, three during summer, or the required number to fulfill the remaining degree plan requirements)
Required Qualifications
Graduate Teaching Assistant is for students enrolled in the graduate psychology program, and the assistantship award is available to doctoral students enrolled in the Clinical Psychology PhD program.
