You've built your career coaching students — not simply teaching them. You understand the distinction: coaching means connecting with students, challenging them, and refusing to accept anything short of their full potential. Teaching means delivering curriculum. You've never been satisfied being a curriculum delivery mechanism.
Alpha operates one of the most unorthodox schools you'll encounter. Students don't occupy rows while absorbing lectures. They progress through AI-driven learning applications at individualized speeds. AI manages the instructional curriculum. Your role is to facilitate life skills workshops that command the attention of K-8 students, conduct motivation sessions that drive them toward their weekly learning targets, and maintain standards when students attempt to underperform.
The academic progress happens independently. You manage the human dimension.
This position offers meaningful upward trajectory, and that trajectory means expanded student influence. Educators who reliably achieve their metrics (100% cohort completion of weekly app objectives, satisfaction scores exceeding 90%) advance into Lead Guide positions where they mentor fellow educators in refining this approach. Students remain the priority.
The Brownsville campus sits adjacent to SpaceX's Starbase facility. If your motivation for leaving your present position centers on mission — transforming what students believe about their capabilities — rather than enhancing your résumé.
