Scope of Job

The Department of Health and Biomedical Sciences (HaBS) seeks applicants for a full-time, non-tenure-track Lecturer I position with a three-year appointment beginning in the  academic year. The successful candidate will teach graduate health science courses in the Master of Science in Health Sciences ( MSHS ) program, including healthcare informatics (HI). Responsibilities include delivering high-quality instruction in an accelerated online format;

developing and updating courses to reflect current professional standards and emerging practices; assessing student learning; mentoring and supporting graduate students; and contributing to curriculum development, program assessment, accreditation-related activities, and departmental and university service. The successful candidate will have the qualifications to teach other MSHS graduate-level health sciences courses as needed.
