Summary:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator assists the Director of Student Affairs in evaluating, analyzing, planning, implementing, tracking and managing a comprehensive range of services related to the Student Affairs processes. The coordinator conducts these assignments in a manner that allows the department to meet performance goals and objectives in an efficient and timely manner. Additionally, this individual will assist in the coordination, definition and communication of policies and procedures among educational partners and incoming learners at DHR.
POSITION EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:
- · Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
- · Two (2) years of experience in program administration with relation to students, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:
- Promotes the facility mission, vision and values by effectively communicating them to others. Considers mission, vision and values in developing services, standards and practices.
- Responsible for fostering DHR Health’s commitment to student success by fostering an environment of inclusiveness and support for a diverse student body, enriching student learning, building and maintaining a strong sense of community, and promoting growth through engagement at DHR Health.
- Maintains a properly coordinated delivery of essential student services by organizing the various units and sub‑units in a logical, non‑duplicative, and effective manner to best meet the work requirements of the division and the needs of the student body.
- Maintains effective communication and working relationships with administrators, staff, faculty, students, learners and community members as assigned.
- Ability to manage inquiries from faculty, staff, students and learners in a timely manner.
- Ability to provide status and occupancy reports as needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally as well as through written & electronic communication.
- Ability to project a strong positive image through public speaking, personal interaction with educators, learners, faculty, staff and others as required.
- Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Assists in coordinating projects within the department and administrative support staff, and external entities as assigned.
- Maintains and verifies staff, faculty, student, and learner’s records and prepares reports and correspondence related to the work.
- Ability to personally provide high level of interactive service to others, build relationships and addressing identified needs.
- Proficiency in organizing and managing complex functions and the ability to gain the trust and confidence of students is required. A demonstrated commitment to promoting a diverse environment is required
- Supports the overall success of Student Affairs by participating in fundraising and community activities for DHR Health and serving on DHR Health committees as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
