Private Duty Nursing (PDN) care in the home setting.

• Current TB test

• Provide one-to-one patient care in a home or school setting
• Execute physicians’ prescribed plan of care (POC)
• Accurately document care in the electronic system of record
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
• Provide health education and training to patients and family members

Qualified candidates should be competent and confident in performing the following:

• Wound care management
• Wound VAC therapy
• IV antibiotic administration (IV ABXs)
• Foley catheter insertion and care
• Lab draws (venipuncture)
• Ostomy care
• Medication administration
• Care of adult and pediatric patients
• Availability for Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotation
