The Certified Nurse Aide will provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with resident assessments and care plans.

• Assist residents with daily care tasks such as bathing, feeding, dressing, caring for hair and nails, moving residents from area to area, and responding to calls.
• Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by the Charge Nurse.
• Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries.
• Contribute knowledge of resident conditions and needs to resident care plans.
• Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes in resident conditions to the Charge Nurse.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must hold a valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.
• Experience in a long‑term care facility is preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

• Lift residents and equipment ranging from light to heavy (up to 50 pounds) frequently.
• Carry residents and equipment, shift, or transfer them as needed.
• Push, pull, and drive equipment and residents.
• Stand, sit, walk, and move quickly to respond to calls.
• Perform tasks that require speaking, listening, hearing, seeing, and various forms of movement such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, balancing, climbing, turning, twisting, and leaning.
