Parsons is looking for a detail‑oriented Real Estate Package Coordinator to join our Sector Management Office to support a significant infrastructure project. In this role, you will help the Sector Office expedite and manage real‑estate land acquisition efforts, coordinating with the National Program Management Office, other Sector Offices, and assembling and tracking key deliverables such as title reports, appraisal reports, surveys, agreements, negotiation logs, and related documents.
This administrative position may require the incumbent to exercise discretion and independent judgement to meet objectives, understand project priorities, anticipate problems, evaluate alternatives, and initiate action. It may involve supervising lower‑level administrative support personnel.
US citizenship is required for this position.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, the Sector, and National Program offices to procure and track key real‑estate acquisition documents and deliverables.
- Assemble packets required for acquisitions, negotiations, condemnations, and other real‑estate activities.
- Help coordinate with government agencies, including DHS and USACE, to gather or distribute real‑estate acquisition data.
- Coordinate with Parsons’ GIS, Scheduling, Acquisitions, and Administrative teams to provide real‑time insights, data, and document deliverables.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Must be able to obtain appropriate DHS suitability determination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field, or five years of relevant experience (either 3 or 7 years) in lieu of a degree.
- At least 3 years of related experience in Real Estate, Land Acquisitions, Title Services, Surveying Services, Appraisal Services, Real Estate Law, or Real Estate Brokerage.
- Knowledge of Eminent Domain and other real‑estate transaction processes is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with federal government processes and regulations, particularly DHS and USACE, is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in MS Windows, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software; and the ability to manage multiple activities, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of navigating GIS or web mapping systems such as Google Earth or GIS online.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with subcontractors and internal teams.
- Working knowledge of real‑estate concepts relating to land acquisition—easements, appraisals, surveys, and title documents—although not required, is helpful.
