Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate
We are currently looking for the right Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team! Hourly wage $10.75 to $13.00 per hour, plus commission up to 8% on transactions (average additional $2.41 per hour). Pay rates not below local minimum wage.

- Vacation:
One week of paid vacation after completing six months of active full‑time service. We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. As a Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate you partner with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. You greet, engage, and interact with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions. You assist customers with inquiries and problem resolution.
You work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
General duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
- Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
- Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise.
- Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Handles all cash and negotiable items per established policies.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicates to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, demonstrating respect and effective communication tools.
- Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
- Completes assigned training successfully.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
- No restrictions on assisting customers outside the building or retrieving products from exterior storage.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to serve customers and work in a team‑oriented environment.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient basic math calculations.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Flexibility to work at multiple locations and a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and office machines.

Commission Plan InformationThe employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Detailed information is provided during the interview process.
