The Apprentice Plumber assists the supervisor in the maintenance and operations of all plumbing systems in the district.

• High School Graduate or GED required
• 1+ years of plumbing experience preferred;
  Apprentice license preferred
• Able to read blueprints and schematics
• Dependable and cooperative
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable

• Assist in maintaining all plumbing systems under a plumber.
• Assist with services needed for plumbing such as repairing water leaks, replacing pipes, equipment, fixtures, and irrigation systems.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• District vehicle, two-way radio, backhoe, trenching machine, rooter rotor, cordless/power hand tools, and soldering torch

Frequent district travel, strenuous bending, climbing, and walking, working in extreme weather conditions, working on slippery uneven surfaces, and exposure to toxic fumes and chemicals.
