Salary Range: $19.20 minimum – $27.35 maximum

Primary PurposeThe Plumber is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all plumbing systems as assigned.
Qualifications- High School Graduate or GED required
- Journeyman's license required; may substitute with irrigation license and/or 5 years plumbing experience
- Able to read blueprints and schematics
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable
- Maintain all plumbing systems in good working condition.
- Perform services needed for plumbing such as repairing water leaks, repairing or replacing pipes, equipment, or fixtures.
- Make minor installations as directed by supervisor.
- Maintain heating equipment in compliance with all Federal-Slate Commission and Insurance requirements.
- Perform irrigation duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or others.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- District vehicle, two-way radio, backhoe, trenching machine, rooter rotor, electric hand tools, and soldering torch.
- Frequent district travel, strenuous bending, climbing, and walking, working in extreme weather conditions, working on slippery uneven surfaces, and exposure to toxic fumes and chemicals.
