The duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Assists journeyman Technicians in loading and unloading supplies and equipment from trucks.
• Mows, trims, and edges lawns, fields, fence lines, and ditches on the 948 acres of the facility with industrial mowers and large tractors.
• Operates tractors with various attachments such as sprayers that spray herbicides including roundup, which expands out and sprays 20' feet wide; farm plows; and farm disks that are 20 feet wide. Will also operate backhoes and skid steers.
• Makes multiple mechanical and hydraulic connections between the towed or attached equipment and the tractor and makes numerous equipment adjustments.
• Performs operator maintenance on tractors and equipment.
• Services trucks, tractors, heavy equipment; checks oil, transmission, and hydraulic oils; and power washes vehicles and equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment such as hand tools, chainsaws, push and riding lawnmowers, tractors, backhoes, and fork lifts.
• Maintains lawn sprinkler systems, replaces heads and electric valves, and adjust heads.
• Power washes buildings, sidewalks, and parking lots.
• Reads electric, water, and gas meters on a monthly basis.
